I have be come an enormous fan of online gambling in the 9 years that I have been a part of it. Since the Internet has grown exponentially stronger and more powerful, there has never been a better time to be part of this ever-expanding community of fellow gamblers. Check out some of the reasons I consider gambling on the web to be better than in real life.
I live in Virginia, and there aren’t many places for me to gamble. I can drive the 8 hours to Atlantic City but that means I have to make a whole trip out of it. I would have to pay for all of the travel expenses of a trip. If I’m lucky, I could win enough money to at least break even for my expenses, but that’s defeats the purpose of going to Atlantic City in the first place. I gamble to win money, not to break even for a trip I didn’t want anyways.
Another reason is that I know from experience when you do go to a place like Atlantic City or Las Vegas, you can easily lose track of time, and you can lose a lot of money as well. The casinos obviously want you gambling for as long as you can, and by using tactics such as removing all clocks from the casino floor, they’ll succeed in doing so. You have to be careful of how much time you spend there. Hours go by and you could be down thousands of dollars but you’ll never know because you’ve been swept into the violent casino current.
When I play poker online, I love the fact that I am able to be in the comfort of my bed and also be winning tons of money. I don’t need the ra-ra of Vegas to help me win. In fact, I win way more by simply relaxing on my couch or in the backyard because I don’t have to worry about the casino bull crap.
I would recommend professional gamblers and newbie’s alike to try out online gambling. It’s a great activity to participate in at home, comfortably.

The Internet is a busy place, and there’s so much going on in there. A lot of people ask me what I do on the Internet to keep myself entertained, so I decided to write about it with the hopes of giving you all some direction.
Sites like Digg and StumbleUpon are great when you’re looking for something quick and fun. They’re both great ways to find random and fun articles that you can link to your friends and put on twitter and what not. Sometimes it’s fun to select a channel on StumbleUpon. You can select channels such as CNN or Wikipedia and just get linked to articles on those websites.
Online gambling is always fun to do. I’m an older, married man with kids and I can’t make it to Vegas every weekend like I used to. I can play Blackjack, Poker, and slots all from the comfort of my bed. I find that I win even more money when I don’t have to worry about the Vegas atmosphere. That just stresses me out.
One simple thing that’s fun to do is to join a lot of forums. Forums are areas for Internet users around the world to host discussions and converse on things called boards. There are thousands, even millions, of forums and boards on millions of different websites. I think I am a member of about 15 forums, each corresponding to a different hobby of mine. Las Vegas has nothing on online gambling.
